The success, growth and harmony of our community as a whole are dependent upon the individual contributions that each of us make. This website is designed for the community and public as an informational resource for the benefit of all.
After an exhausting amount of research we came to the realization that an immense amount of planning and foresight was going to be necessary to implement the improvements and functionality that was envisioned for our Mt. Charleston and Spring Mountains community. Consequently, some features will become autonomous to ensure the integrity of our website. Since integration is important many key features will be enabled separately and links created to access the additional functionality as they become available. Currently these restrictions are enabled to ensure your privacy and security at all times. All features are opt-in and under no circumstances will we intentionally sell, give away or transmit your personal information.
We need your contributions to protect our resources, create an atmosphere of understanding and ensure the continued well-being of our community and the entire Spring Mountain Recreation Area. In any open dialog there will be a difference of opinion and possibly even a certain amount of discord. Each of us is entitled to our own beliefs but if we judge others based upon a few words that this medium affords we are being short sighted. If posting decidedly negative feedback it is doing a disservice to the individual, the group and reflects upon the area and community as a whole. This is not a forum to talk about rumors or report on unsubstantiated gossip.
With these objectives in mind let us remember to keep our postings in an upbeat tone. Constructive criticism is welcomed, if its' objective is to improve circumstances and is not destructive or deprecating in nature. Please keep your postings in a clean and respectful tone. Under no circumstances will spamming, flaming, foul language and/or trolling users be tolerated. Anyone may be banned without warning and any posting will be removed promptly if performing these actions.
Help us to create a better place to vacation, live and play in. Post your announcements, information, suggestions, and comments by emailing, using the submittable form or the bulletin bulletin board within the topics and groups in the forums. If you or someone you know has a story or event to share please contact us so that we may include their experiences on our website. Eventually this dissemination will not only for the benefit us but act as a resource for the generations to come.
